National Forest. Streaks of sunlight break through the lodge
pole pines, scattering beams on the abundant underbrush
below. Walk an old winding foot path that will take you
along moose marshes and frog ponds. Many varieties of birds
and dragonflies patrol the skies - and except for a mild
breeze and maybe the distant rumble of an approaching thunderstorm,
it is quiet. The pace is slow and relaxing - bring your
camera and drive one of the area’s FIVE scenic and
historic byways, or relax in a comfortable cabin and enjoy
the beautiful sunrises and sunsets. |
