Peter Vidmar won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal at
the 1984 Olympic Games. As the USA men's gymnastics team
captain, he led his teammates to America's first team
gold medal with their stunning upset victory over the
defending world champions, the People's Republic of China.
He went on to win the silver medal in the individual
all-around competition, and with a perfect score of 10,
he captured the gold medal on the pommel horse.
Today, Peter translates his skills as a leader and motivator
into inspirational presentations for Fortune 500 companies
looking to benefit from his Gold Medal performances. In
addition to his Olympic success, he has

numerous NCAA and international titles and an economics
degree from UCLA. He also serves on the Executive Committee
of USA Gymnastics and the Governors Council on Physical
Fitness and Sports for the State of California.
As a member of the organizing committee for the 2003
World Championships in Anaheim, CA (and Honorary Chair
of the event), he will play an integral role in the staging
of the world's largest gymnastics competition in history.
Peter also serves as the Co-Chairman of the US Olympic
Committee Summer Sports Summit, an annual series of workshops

designed to prepare America's medal hopefuls to win Gold
in 2004. Peter has worked for many years as the gymnastics
commentator for CBS Sports, and will be working as a journalist
at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece.
Peter is a powerful and entertaining presenter with 2
decades of experience. Well known as a motivator, Successful
Meetings Magazine listed Peter as one of the top ten corporate
speakers in America. He is also a contributing author
of Awaken the Olympian Within and the author of recently
